Our First Lady

Brandee Elizabeth was born July 17th to Elizabeth Ann and Vernon Dugger. She is the youngest of four children Kevin, Bryan and Kim and a sister to over 30 foster children that her mother and father raised. Brandee Elizabeth was born and raised under the Roman Catholic Church. She is the graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and majored in Business Administration at Penn State University. Brandee Elizabeth is currently a successful Referral agent for Weichert Realtors and has been in the Mortgage Banking industry for over 13 years.
She is a talented actress, and has performed in numerous plays and theatre productions. She attended Freedom Theater and studied under the direction of Walter Dallas in addition to studying Film at Mike Lemon Studios. Brandee Elizabeth has dedicated every single one of her performances to her late brother, Kevin Dugger, who was also a talented actor. She changed her stage name in 2001 to Brandee-Kevin in his honor.
On Sunday June 24, 1990, at the age of 16 Brandee Elizabeth met Pastor Carlton L. Aiken at Upper Room Missionary Baptist Church on the Church’s Anniversary. Five years later, they were united in Holy Matrimony. They are the proud parents of nine children, four of which are biological: Carlton Jr., Christian, Kennedee and Chase. In 2005, God blessed them with five of her cousins to parent; Adrienne, Donna, Catrina, Calvin and Shekira.
At the age of seven-teen Brandee was baptized at the Upper Room Missionary Baptist Church by her father in-law the late Bishop Joseph C. Aiken Sr. Brandee Elizabeth has developed a strong passion for giving back to the community and served as a volunteer of the Food Pantry Ministry at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church where Pastor Carlton was Interim Pastor. On a weekly basis, the Ministry provided food for over 300 people. She has recognized her call to ministry of giving and development of people. She has poured into the vision of the Body of Christ Ministries, (The BOC) where she and Pastor Aiken share the desire to restore and help to reconcile families through the utilization of their God given gifts, experience and educational backgrounds.
1st Lady B. Elizabeth Aiken has increased her serve here at URMBC and is currently serving as the Director of Business Operations, has established the Senior Citizens Ministry, the driving force behind the vision & institution of the 2 Fish 5 Loaves food Ministry which began in April 2012 providing food to our community for those in need. Brandee has implemented a new structure to our culinary ministry and in 2012 shared a glimpse of what God had in store as she gave a powerful word during our Good Friday Services, expounding on the first saying from the Cross “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” These are just a few of the most recent accomplishments during the year 2012 and the catalyst for many more opportunities for ministry that God has placed within our 1st Lady.
1st Lady B. Elizabeth Aiken’s zeal and “realness” for the Lord, her passion in the application of his principals to our daily walk, has been inspiring to the men and women of URMBC and God has only just begun to move in her Life during this season of change and Kingdom advancement.
